M.E.A.N. email: Is this why nothing works?
If you're not seeing any result, you might want to consider this.
Minimalism, Excerpt, Actionable, Noteworthy
Feb. 10, 2023
I hope you enjoy it! (and learn something)
Minimalism:
There is a big difference between organizing and minimizing.
Just because everything is organized or appropriately hidden, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fine as it is.
Organized clutter is still clutter.
There’ll be a point when the drawer is full and the cabinet is overflowing.
One way or another, something’s gotta go.
Excerpt:
I saw a movie last week on Netflix. It’s called Dog Gone.
Annnnd. It’s a bad movie. (Sorry not sorry)
The best part was the dog and the dog wasn’t even there for like 80% of the time because well, he’s gone. Dog Gone.
But anyway, there is a repeated line throughout the movie:
“How are you so sure we’d find him?”
And the dad answers:
“Because I believe it.”
And because the movie sucks, my mind just wondered thinking about that line. ‘Because I believe it.’
Is that enough? Our beliefs?
Yeah. I thought it was good enough.
You see, sometimes you hope that things will work out. But you don’t believe it will work out.
Result?
You keep looking for reasons not to and reasons why it’ll fail. You keep finding holes and excuses.
Then where does that leave you?
You’re left hoping, paddling like hell, and wondering why the hell nothing works.
Well, maybe the reason is simple.
Your belief isn’t there.
And if that’s true… If it really isn’t anything there—then what the hell are you doing?
SO yeah. I believe I still got something out of that 90min movie.
Actionable:
I’m gonna relate this one to the excerpt.
How about you ask yourself this:
What is it you keep hoping for and thinking you’re working towards, but truly, your belief isn’t there?
Go figure.
Noteworthy:
So before you question your whole being with the actionable part (sorry not sorry) I want you to see this…
Yep. Ya boy is back on freelancing. Full throttle.
Noteworthy right? Yeah? Yeah.
But seriously, I’m offering copywriting services again.
So if you or someone you know needs to put some spells into their sales pages, or ads, or websites, hit me up.
Don’t sell stuff like this guy:
Need I say more about why you need a good copywriter? The right words inspire people.
BUT: I’m still a minimalist so I do have some preferences for clients. I don’t wanna help people scam or sell crap.
Let’s go for products and services with REAL value. Something that stands with sustainable living and wellness.
So again, I believe *wink wink* this is noteworthy so please help me spread the word.
See you on the next one,
Johnrille
